wow this movie was one giant filthy piece of shit. first of all the whole flick jumps back and forth sooo many times from past, to present and even future in the begining you really have to pay attention. second its the gayest movie of all time. alexander (collin farrell) tries to bang hi buddy (jared leto) through the entire movie. they have some really fruity scenes together. collin does bang one of his man servants, the gayest man ive ever scene. you also see the man servant do a striptease. plus there is sooooo much guy on guy kissing. ohh and to top it off you get a really nice view of alexander's dick and nutsack. lastly oliver stone tries too hard . he has this one scene where alexander gets injured, all the colors change and you think your tripping. the effect doesnt work.

the only redeeming part of this movie is when rosario dawson gets naked. she is a beautiful girl, i mean REALLY fucking cute. and her tits are huge!!! they are absolutely amazing natural, perky... probably the best cans ive seen on a celeb. those two gorgeous mounds almost make sitting through 167mins of shit worthwhile :smirk:

I didn't watch more than half of it, because of the gayness. And not the homosexual gayness. The movie was just ghey.

glad you posted this...suffer and I rented it and were planning on watching it tonight or tomorrow.  I'll save the 3 hours of my life, and not subject myself, or him, to gay porn.  Thanks  :thumbup:

I haven't watched the entire thing, but the beginning battle (Gaugamela) was excellently done and very accurate.

It must've been very authentic then. Alexander the Great has been widely thought by historians to be gay. And back in those days, it wasn't anything to take a gay lover and many did.

I didn't see the movie and don't want too. All I have to say is that is a shame that they take a man who was probably the greatest military hero ever, who had courage, ambition, and actually accomplished the impossible then turn around and worry about his sexual orientation and his relationship with his mother.

alexander was a far more accomplished general thn hannibal. hannibal only won about 4 or 5 major battles whearas alexander won dozens and conquered the greatest empire on earth.

Anyways, i didn't think the movie was that bad. Some parts were well done, and accurate, but others were very inaccurate and drawn out. All the shit with his mom just seemed like a lame excuse to keep showing angelina jolie, which is not necessary. And for a movie about the greatest conqueror in history there just wasn't enough war related scenes. Only two battles, that sucked. And when it came down to those battles it wasn't even all that accurate...they didn't even get the persian kings name right for christs sake...the general tactics and strategy were pretty accurate though. I'm pretty sure it was actually a meshing of two different battles that occured in persia. And the one in india was accurate in the sense that there were elphants and indian people. They had to mesh alot of events together because they wasted way to much time trying to guess at what kind of man alexander was, developing him, and ruining him.

For instance he was most definitely bi-sexual, as most men were at his age back then, people back then just weren't turned off by it. But he fucked all sorts of women too. Instead Oliver Stone make him look like a whiny gay spoiled mammas boy, and he wasted the whole damn movie doing it. What a shame. He was actually a intense ego maniac who thought he was a god towards the end, or so they say.

It's such an interesting part of history that it just pisses me off that Oliver Stone screwed it up so badly. But at the same time it's not as bad as everyone says, it's just more non-fiction than fiction and sometimes non-fiction is boring and "gay" and that's why people didn't like it.
