Sublime is always chill and people are usually very receptive to it.

Where the hell is all the Sublime?

And most of the stuff on there is in fact mainstream

And not everyone who points that out is an elitist.

Yes sublime is great... and I'm not an elitist... thank you very much

Well mainstream is also a non-defenite word. To me mainstream is rap, huge country artists, the latest emo punk band, etc.

Subjective is a funny thing. And yeah, I need to get some sublime or 311.

I'd suggest Pavement, Pinback, !!!, Out Hud, Built to Spill, Talking Heads, Beck, Hockey Night, My Morning Jacket, PIXIES, Pulp, and Spoon.

Massive Attack, Thievery Corporation, The Microphones, Van Morrison, The Black Keys, Jimmy Bruno, and Miles Davis are also a few others I'd suggest.

NFG was the latest punk band, and it's mainly that one song. And is MCR that popular? If so..guess I like a mainstream band. I think they're great.

And sorry, she. It's the Shroomery. Mostly guys
