blinking my journal icon

there is this icon blinking next to it - but i don't have any new posts in my journal - so i think it is just going crazy...

Mine has been blinking non stop since I first saw it.

I checked for new replies in my journal and there was one, but the icon doesn't go away after the reply has been read.

EDIT: nevermind. It no longer blinks.

To fx it I had to post in all my entries, just reading them wasn't good enough for some reason
