Ya know, politics aren't really my thing. George did a lot with his music. That was enough for me. I really don't know much about how politically envolved they both were?

I just got done reading that whole long Playboy interview book John did right before he died. It's an extrordinary read. Everyone should definitely check it out. I learned a few things:

It seems like Yoko did have an enormous amount of control over him. She comes off as smart and polite, but also pretty crazy. She had something to do with the Beatles demise... But they would have broken up anyway. And I'm glad they did.

John had a colossal ego to go along with his intellect.

He said that he never considered himself political.

He seemed really bitter about the Beatles and McCartney.

I think you're right about John.

I always thought he was bitter about the Beatles also. He had to try and rub their faces in it. The were just doin what they always did. He changed and so he thought they should too. That's and ego trip. Still I liked alot of what he was.
