I'm paying for it today, threw up a whole bunch, but I sure did. We had dinner which included two margaritas and a tequila shot, then met up with almost everyone I know (that's a great feeling on your birthday) to see Spoon in concert, had a couple beers, then went and had a pitcher of beer or two with friends at a bar. I don't remember anything after getting into the bar, but I definitely was up for a while, had sex, and puked.

I won't be able to drink anything for like 3 days now though. I'm revolted by alcohol at the moment. I surf the net standign at my bedroom window so I can piggyback folks' wireless, and a big liquor delivery truck with Captain Morgan on it just drove by and I gagged.

Except when I drank to excess, I couldn't drink for like a month afterwards.

I mean, in general I'm no huge fan of alcohol. But I mean, it's fun. I like beer best, hard liquor sickens me (though a good gin and tonic w/Sapphire gin is great). But I mean...if I could smoke pot all the time, and at concerts, and not end up a dumb fuck from smoking my brains away, I would. Alcohol's just easier.

But I feel like, even though it loosens people's inhibitions, that in a spiritual sense it pushes you into yourself.

I like alcohol still, but I can't allow myself to drink to excess anymore.

When I turn 21, I'll probably drink, but only a few drinks at a time.

Everything in moderation...and alcohol especially. Cause I mean, if I'm smoking I'll keep smoking more pot until I'm outta my mind, but I hate the feeling of being wasted.

True. You can get stoned out of your mind one night and feel pretty much fine the next day but if you get wasted you'll be paying the next day.

The OTD was a screaming independent ball of fire which would never die even if challenged by the highest authorities (papaver). Then boredom killed the forum and alot of people moved here.
