Brilliant.
Five shrooms.
I'm gonna watch it again tonight. I haven't laughed that hard at pure absurdity in a while.
And from a screenwriter's perspective, an exceedingly well-structured script. It's kind of one of the best movies ever.

I like it when they have the montage where kumar marries the bag of weed.

Yeah. That and the scene where they actually see the commercial for White Castle. I was like, YES, they actually translated a pot moment perfectly!

i thought the plot was rather lame and simple ...
adventure > driving > adventure > driving > adventure > etc etc etc
"i'm so high, nothing can hurt me!" best line of the movie
oh, battleshits was absolutely disgusting and hilarious

we watched this movie and loved it. Actually my little brother recommended it to me...he's not the pot smoking type, so I found it especially amusing.

I've never seen the movie but last night kosmic_charlie and dnL went to White Castle and it was pretty gross. DnL ended up throwing up a bunch of times. Twas my first and last visit there.

Simple plots mean real stories. Characters whose lives are thrown out of balance by a desire, and they have to pursue that desire.
And beneath the obvious desire (WHITE CASTLE) is the subconscious desire (wanting the American dream to come true). Brilliant!

I don't know. Have you ever seen a better stoner movie about stoners, since Cheech and Chong? It's not as good as cheech and chong, but it's one of the best stoner movies of all time.
Supertroopers was great too.

yes, i am agreeing it is a good stoner movie, but i reserve the adjective brilliant for something that is truely remarkable, groundbreaking and breathtaking, y'know??
and yes, i have seen a better movie ... it's called half baked

I thought it was funny...but there's just something about watching movies that are that blatantly obvious about their corporate sponsors
Honestly if it had of been called "Harold and Kumar go to the Burger Joint" I would have loved it.
