Electric Apricot, anyone?

#4187004 - 05/17/05 04:10 PM (21 years, 5 months ago)

Does anybody know anything about this new collaboration? It is a Les Claypool project with (I assume) a member of the Dead. What makes me assume this, you say? Look here.

I haven't heard anything, but it should be cool.

I'd be willing to bet that Les Caypool will play with the frogs on the Zooma tour.

Well thats what Jimbo, who has taped every frogs show, told me.

firstly - the 11-point lightning bolt is not the official GD 13-point bolt, but there is obviously somebody from the dead involved or else it is the tackiest ploy ever, which i maintain, les is well above. phil lesh.

the apricot - highly suggestive of either eat a peach or picture of nectar. berry oakley is dead, leaving mike gordon.

it happened recently, so why the fuck not? most claypool side projects arose from seemingly 1-time jam sessions.

i feel like les is not represented by the name, however, and would like to see electric apricot soda in its place.
