 Stupid scale!!

Yeah, my scale just broke. Well technically it still turns on, but it's entirely useless. It just read some weird letters, so I cleaned it, and now it won't register any weight.
I need it to work within the next couple days. Damnit! Does anyone know of any places (not online) that sell relatively cheap scales? Or some way to make one? Or something? I'm kinda desperate. Help much appreciated, thanks!
