the sushi de mayo
    #4139737 - 05/05/05 09:16 PM (18 years, 10 months ago)

Ok that was weird.

There's a small, quiet (usually), trendy sushi bar right down the block from me. I go there sometimes to read and get the hell out of my parents' apartment.

I wander in there just for a quick half hour to read some burroughs and get some sushi. I walk in and everyone's doing sake bombs... some fratty kids in there, but everynoe seems to be in the spirit.. yelling CINCO DE MAYA!! SAKEEEEE!!!

I sit down and start reading, nab a coulpe rolls, and the kids get even more drunk. They start buying rounds of sake for everyone in the place. The waitor runs around asking everyone if they want a free car bomb on these kids. The two hot ass waitresses decide to get in on the action, but they can't smash their fists on the bar hard enough to drop the shotglass in, so they come over next to me ask me to help.

Well... what a lucky night for me ;P

sake .. BOMB!
sake .. BOMB!

sake ..... BOMB!

SPLAT!!!!

Beer splattered all over their white shirts! Boooyaw! Good thing I moved by book out of the way.

I stumbled out half an hour later, after giving props to the kids, unexpectedly inhebbbbbriated.

Don't you just those random encounters... the random fun bits of time that come out of no where that make life interesting?
