if i new as much i think it would be very very tourturis. I wouldnt be able to rest and i could very eassily thinnk of this question, what is QUALITY? How can one define quality in ones work, when every ones idea of this quality is different, yet we judge everything in life by the terms of its quality. We get graded in school by quality. Yet quality is a figmint of the imagination....

I saw a very interesting series about idiots savants on the BBC Learning some time ago. I don't think I would like to be one of them. Although they have some amazing capabilities in one field or another, they are pretty much retards (with adequate IQ, creativity etc.) in general. If we talk science and medicine, then yes, nowadays it would be possible to make you an idiot savant.

I'd like to be able to spend some time with some savants. It is absolutely amazing what the human brain can do!

I have memorized a shitload of poetry in my lifetime. I can go on for hours reciting it. It just always been a hobby of mine. But I have no special ability. I just find it interesting and put my mind to it. Whenever someone says to me "Man, I couldn't do that, I can't remember shit!" I just ask them to recite the pledge of allegiance, and then ask them to sing the national anthem, and then have them sing their favorite song to me...you get the idea. People have a lot more stored in their memory then they give themselves credit for. And with a little effort you can cram a lot of shit in there! It just takes practice and repetition.

But savants are still amazing. Their brains almost seem to work more like a computer that can recall any info on demand.

im building a greene house for a savant, he knowls any thing about succulents and claudisiforms. Knows growth habbitats of almost every specie of claudisiforms.
