Has anyone listened to them while shrooming? I found an album my dad had and they sound like I would really enjoy them shroomin.

Shroomin or not, they are indeed some fine psychedelic music. I only have white eagle and its a really nice album. Klaus Schulze is in the band I think.

Tangerine Dream were building up a huge following. When, disaffected with Ohr owner Rolf-Ulrich Kaiser's overly paternalistic attitude towards space-rock (which included secretly spiking musicians' drinks with LSD and recording the results for his new Kosmische Musik offshoot), T Dream refused to record for the company, Virgin stepped into the breach and signed the band.

Only heard Zeit so far, but it was pretty cool. I'll listen to some other stuff.

I also have the movie Legend, with a score by them on it, but that was early 80s period.

I love T-Dream! My favorite album by far is 'Rubycon'. 'Tyranny of Beauty' also has some good stuff. And the soundtrack to the movie "The Sorcerer" also has some great stuff.

Probably their most famous piece from a soundtrack was in "Risky Bussiness". They did the piece that is playing while Cruise and DeMornay are doing it on the train.

Hello!

Klaus Schulze was with thim for the first album "Electronic Meditation".

Still not heard that album but the 3 after it are amazing "Atem", "Zeit" and "Alpha Centauri".

After that they went a little bit too new agey for my own personal tastes.

Yes Rubycon is very good. I also like Phaedra.
