with adblock extension, just right click on the ad, and "adblock iframe" and then when the url comes up, edit it to look like this *googlesyndication* (blocks any random junk before and after googlesyndication)... works with ALL stuff like that on all pages, i rarely see ads anymore, cause i've blocked all the key player in the ad market world.. usualy, blocking things like */ads/* and the like... *doubleclick* *adlog* etc... just click the adblock box in the bottom right corner to list every blockable item on the page, and then find the one's that are obviously ad companies, and just *company* and they will never show up again...

always just use the company name cause that way you get them all.. . it's fun finding ads on the internet now, cause it's like "ahh, a new one... cool, let's get that blocked and all squared away now"

it's good to have a comprehensive filter like the one I posted...that alone will block 95% of internet ads. the other 5% will come from manually adding urls when you see ads like you described.
