he was banned for being under 18
he is 18'and he gave me this to tell you guys via aim:
"Just ask how they could be banning me when i could be facing up to 2 years in prison because I am an adult, ive been an adult for awhile now and the only reason my mom drug tested me was because I live with her and she doesn't want drugs in the house"

I concur. I saw the thread in question, and he was hung, drawn, and quartered tarred and feathered and run out of town without any sort of trial. Never once did he say he was a minor, all he did was say his mom was giving him a drug test, there could be any number of reasons why that could be happening to an adult, such as he's still living in her house uh hello

Indeed, according to him he is above 18, and just because the family who he is living with wants to drug test him, he must be a minor? We may say that seems stupid to drug test an adult, but it is definitely done, and this guy was catch up in the witchhunt of "Find all minors! Even if we don't have any evidence, let's constantly search for little 'clues' people are underage and exploit them!"

It's sickening, really, this atmosphere is growing more and more hostile, and for no real gain. I'm sure there are still smart minors here who just don't talk about their personal life at all, but when an adult talks about their's, people make assumptions about them and have them banned?

my mom once drove three hours to the town i was living to pop a drug test on me.

i was 21 or 22 at the time.

...and you complied?  I'd have laughed at my parents if they had done that!  I always respected living by thier rules when I was in thier house, but once I was out my life was none of thier bussiness.  Besides, they could've just asked me and I would've talked to them about anything I was doing anyway.

As for the banning...it did seem a bit hasty to me without giving him any chance to defend himself. :shrug:

she always thinks i've been smoking da reefer 24/7. funny thing is, i don't even smoke it at all. she is extremely idiotic/paranoid about drugs, especially marijuana.


my dickhead former roommate's girlfriend's drug-cop uncle told my roommate that he went by the house and i was smoking pot (he said he could smell it and that he saw me run and grab a pipe off a table and hide it. :wtf: was he on?).  roommate called his dad. roommate's dad called my dad. my dad told my mom the next day. my mom rushed right over with a suprise test. sounds like something from a movie.. :smirk:

the laugh i got out of getting to hear that story was worth pissing in a cup for. :lol:

wow... I'm lucky I have an honest relationship with my mom, at 14 she asked
if I smoke pot, I said yes, nothing more has ever come of it other than
the standard "dont get stupid with it, if you need me just call"

lol sounds like my parents pris.  i used to smoke out my room and if one of my parents came to my door, they would just say "damn, open a window or something" lol.... my dads a cop too lol...  sometimes you just gotta be thankful for whatcha got! :wink:
