my apartment got robbed

everything stolen....they took my car keys, car, stereo, computer everything....put 2 bullet holes in my door, fucking bastards....thats why I havent posted here in a littlre while. Im moving out of apartment today, the fucking hood sucks, I live in a bad area of my city. Im just glad I wasnt home when it happened or one of those bullet holes could have been in me......damn this sucks.

no, Im not getting anything back. My landlord was even kind enough to stick me for the bill for the door.

Shit that sucks ass man. Sorry to hear it. I dont think your landlord can stick you with the bill for the door, in fact you may be able to pull some shit in the fact that the apartment wasnt secure enough. He seems like a dick of a landlord, so I'd try and stick it to him. Hope everything works out man.

That so totally sucks! As someone with nothing worth robbing, I can't say that I relate too. It's hard to steal fishtanks :wink: May all go well, and if all else fails, move to Iowa where it's nice and safe :wink:

yeah that sucks i was once robbed at gun point at my apt all they got was a 10$ in qurters and a few pipes didnt take my weed or any thing man that sucks you got more jacked than i did i few bad for you

damn man... im sorry. good luck on getting started over. the important part to remember is shitty and good things will always happen througout your life, but they always pass. i know that probably doesnt help much, but i try to look at things that way.

if it makes you feel any better my friends' appt got robbed three times in one week, breaking in through two different doors. they took everything, all threir books, computer, tv, dvd player, all dvds and tapes, stereo, and pretty much everything else. the third time is when they took the most stuff, and they found that out in the morning after tripping on acid for 12-14+ hours on acid in the woods with me and some other friends.... what a shitty thing to come home to after a trip like that.

anyway, i hope things clear up for you as soon as possible. if you look on the bright side, now you have less to worry about.

Hehe I got robbed at gunpoint once while walking down the street. :lol: I had nothing on me but some change... actually I had $30 in the 5th pocket of my jeans. I was going to score something hehe, but he didnt find it

Another time I got held up at gunpoint for two sheets of lucy :frown: It was my fault for being a teenage dumbass though. I learned my lesson :thumbup:

Dude, that's so shitty. my condolences. One of my worst fears is some fucker making off with my computer/music collection (they are one in the same). if my house ever burns down & I have a moment to spare, my hard drive is the one thing I'm grabbing before dashing out the window.

Always try to have an off-site backup of all of your important electronic data/music/etc. I have a small business, and I upload my biz backup files to a secure server off premises so in the event of fire or any of that crappy stuff, I still have my data.

All of my MP3's for FinalScratch/dj'ing are also burnt onto CD's and held at a friend's house.

...And check out the new double-layer DVD's that can hold 8.5 GIGS of data now on one side. Pretty snazzy for backup schtuff (and for burning a full DVD movie without compression, too!)
