The browser name for this site needs to change if possible

It's too obvious if someone is looking over your shoulder even if the window is in the background because the taskbar shows "Shroomery." Hiding the taskbar would be suspicious here.

I think any person with atleast half a mind would know it had to do something with magical mushrooms.youd would have to have a mind the equivalent of homer simpson to not know what it is.

Ask any 10 people what they associate the word Shrooms with!

couldnt you add an option to disable
the title like we do the gradient names?

if your afraid of peaple looking over your shoulder u should seek a more secure terminal or demand privacy...

and if its your boss ure worried about, u know damnwell u shouldent be doing it at work and that you leave a trail in the computer for the boss to look at if it pleases him/her...

there's a tweak in firefox that'll disable site names.
I dont know what the setting is...but
visit forums.mozillazine.org and ask
maybe someone will know.

I usually have like, 10 windows open on my taskbar. Its nice to have one say "Shroomery" so I can tell which ones are which.

Dont change it just 'cause some kid is trying to hide his naughty surfing from the librarian at elementary school.

yeah, I think if you want the titlebar to be changed you should do it yourself (instead of having the shroomery do it officially). with that said, here's an extension for firefox that will remove "The Shroomery" and other website names + more:

(use the 2nd one - the Sboulema one)

one more reason to use firefox.

the title was changed a while back after a similar request was made, then they changed it back to "shroomery forums."

true dat. i think that means it was recognised as a genuine concern, but lost in an upgrade. it also bothers me, as i surf at work and i'd lose everything if i was outed. so i use www.proxify.com for ?12 a year, and feel it's well worth it: not only is all surfing hidden, but the taskbar just says 'proxify'
