I crashed a high school party last night (a report)

So I'm sitting here last night posting at the Shroomery and I'm hearing lots of people outside. I finally decide to go investigate and lo-and-behold there are cars lined up and down my street and high school kids everywhere. I grab my beer and wander out into my front yard. 5 doors down from my house there lives a high school girl. Her parents are out of town and there is a raging party going on.

So I am out there just drinking my beer, sitting in my driveway, and watching the neighborhood. There are tons of kids coming and going and just haning out in the streets. I exchange pleasantries with most as they pass. I see them pull one car up in front of the house, carry two drunk chicks out and put them in the car, two others girls get in and start to drive away. The car goes about 50 feet past me and comes to a screeching halt. The 2 sober girls jump out screaming and the one driving is yelling "Get her out of the car!" I start laughing because its obvious what happened. One of the drunk chicks is puking all over the back seat! :lol:

As the driver walks back past me toward the party I point at the garden hose on the ground and say "You wanna use my hose?". But she saw no humor in my little joke. :grin:

Then, some other drunk dude stops to talk to me. He asks if I live there (like its not obviuos, I'm in the driveway with my garage door open). And he suddenly starts pleading with me not to call the cops and break up the party! :smirk:

Shit man, I was just waiting for an invitation to join in! :tongue:

And the invitation was not far behind. Sunny (the girl who lives there) walked past with some dude she was hooking up with. She stops to say hi (I obviously know her since we are neighbors) and says I'm welcome to come over if I want. I'm thinking to myself "This is too good to pass up. I gotta see whats going on inside!"

So I wander over to the house. They got some big kid watching the door charging entry to the party. But he wasn't sure what to make of me as I came walking up. I could see the fear in his eyes that maybe I was trouble, come to break up the party or something. So he barely even looked at me as I walked in.

Inside....well, lets just say that Sunny's gonna be in deep shit when mom and dad get home!! :eek:

The place is pretty much trashed. Most everything looked like it could be cleaned up except for a few good stains on the carpet. But one of the cushions on the couch (leather couch) had been tore open and the stuffing was spread all around like party decorations! And I saw a few undesirable cigarette burns around the place as well.

Everyone is kinda looking at me warily, wondering who I am and what I'll do. I see a few other kids I recognize from around the neighborhood and start chatting. And I see some dude sitting in the corner looking bored. He's a bit older. Turns out he's a college student who has a freind still in high school. He says he's glad I'm there cause now he doesn't feel like the chaperon anymore. :smirk:

I start playing pool with some kids. They wanna play for money but I don't see the need to take money from drunk high school kids so I decline. But to be nice I offer to give them 5 bucks if they can beat me. No danger here. Its not that I'm a pool shark, but these kids are in no condition to be challenging me to anything but a stumbling contest!

Eventually I find my way into the garage. Here I find the stoner crowd. They are passing a pipe around and offer it to me. I politely decline (I don't smoke) and then one kid says "Dude, how old are you?" I grin and tell him. He says, "Holy shit. My dad is only 2 years older than you!" :crazy:

It was at this point that I decide to make my exit. I had been there over an hour and I was suddenly feeling really old! :blush:

I chat for a few more minutes with the stoners. Then I go back to the pool table and chat with those kids. I find Sunny and say thanks for inviting me (she hadn't even seen me and didn't know I had shown up :grin:

). Then I tell the college kid he is back in charge and I walk out, leaving behind nothing but stories about the weird, old dude from down the street who crashed the party. :thumbup:
