When do you know you have a drug problem?

When do you know you have a drug problem? Maybe some of you can state here, I'm hopped up on stuff right now, so I'm prob not thinking to clearly, but it's a valid and important question that could perhaps help me or some other people here.

They are not getting in my way, but my useage is becoming more increasing. I make ok money, enough to pay the bills and have a bit of fun w/ buds. However with my job I end up having a lot of empty time where I have nothing to do. So lately I have found myself eating dxm every 2 weeks, and I just found some old ephedrine in my cabnet and I popped 50mg, and I'm getting very nice body highs. And now I'm friggin growing shrooms lol.

Thanks. Nothing wrong with growing shrooms man. I wouldn't take DXM often but that's just me. If it's not causing a problem then I don't see how you have a drug problem right?

I guess your right, it's after the come down I get scared about my increased usage, but at the time when "The Drug Hunger" hits I don't give a shit lol, but who knows I'm prob just bored again right now and am causing unecesary drama in my head.

I suppose a problem would be if I was spending all my $$ on meth, ect...

Maybe I'm just going through a stage in my life, being 25ish, and now I'm listening to more peace type music and taking more drugs. I'll be 40yr and look back and think, what a dumbass. lol

Yea, look at me.  I smoke atleast 1/8 of weed a day, generally I stumble upon a percocet or two, most of the time I'm given atleast 1 or 2 adderall a day, and I like to eat mushrooms.

I don't think I have a problem.  I still function well enough at work to get a promotion/pay raise and no one outside the people I do the drugs with, know I do them.

So my advice is to eat some of them mushrooms, smoke a joint, then sit down and smoke another joint.  Fuck having a drug problem.  As long as you aren't puking your guts out from lack of heroin or something stupid like that, I say you have no problem :wink:

Also, if you don't want that DXM, send it my way?

I felt i had a drug problem, when all i would do in my free time was drugs, and id even try make more time to do them (skippin school). Another sure sign is when you get envious of others, by their extreme actions as of how much they smoked, bought, drank and such.

And really, I was never addicted physically to anything, but mentally, yes. But i overcame all that; ditched the connections and stopped hanging out with certain people. Getting arressted really helped me slow the partying down to a crawl. Realizing that my future career would be put in total jeopardy if i were to be arressted ever again, not to mention kicked out of the house.

When you listen to people that tell you that you're having a problem, or you yourself aren't happy with your current situation, then you have a drug problem.

I've been arrested twice. Once for alcohol as a minor, and a second time for having a bong. Both times I got off relatively easy, and even if I were prosecuted to the full extent of the law, I refuse to recognize their authority to rule my life or my thoughts. I am against every part of the US drug policy and will not conform to their laws while I still breathe.

i hate the laws too. But the way i was going about things, really wasnt the best for me. Getting arressted was a wake up call to get my shit together and be ready for college. I still hate cops even though i dont smoke or drink anymore. They didnt change my perspective, i jsut operate a tad more smoothly when not partaking in those kinds of things.

first off, theres nothing wrong with a drug 'collection'
& theres nothing wrong with growing shrooms, its a hobby.

drug "use" is perfectly fine, using moderation & respect
to dosage.

drug "abuse" is what you have to worry about.

theres a line between the 2 of them, which 1 are you under
is the question.
