Ever notice that everyone seems to rate people either 5 shrooms or 1? People only seem to dish out ratings if they either love a person or hate them. Apparently, people don't find much middle ground in others here.

yeah I've noticed that, well I gusse if they want to go out of the way to rate someone it would be cause they feeling strongly whichever way.

When I rate it's I either like them or I don't so they get 1 or 5. There is to many people here though, I don't rate enjoyable posters often enough.

Ya, I have a couple like that. I don't think I've ever given out a 4 or a 2, but I've given a couple 3's to people who I don't hate, but feel that they need to chill the fuck out.

EDIT: Apparently I gave Mr_Mushrooms 4 shrooms.

I usually will give out 1's or fives. They have to make me go out of my way to rate them.

I've often thought about that, but to me, the main reason is that it's silly to rate someone a 3 just because they're "average" in my eyes, but I could see using it when someone is usually cool, but does something stupid. It's a bit insulting to give anything under 5, usually. At least on some level.

And I always wonder if there is some kind of equitte when someone rates you, to rate them back or thank them. I feel it's sometimes a bit insincere to rate them 5 mushrooms just because they did.
