Car Accident!!!

Holy Crap!!! :shocked:

What a night I had. :thumbdown:

I was on my way to see a movie a few towns away. It was pouring rain out so the roads were slippery. I was making a left turn at a stop light when my tires started slipping. I was going so slow that I thought I could straighten the tires out but they just kept sliding. My truck went right over the median into the other lane and SMACK, right into a car. I f**ked up this womans car pretty bad. She was so shocked by the impact that she stepped on the gas and ran right into the car in front of her.

My truck had almost no damage done to it. Her driver side door was crushed. The man she hit with her car....he drove off! I was so shocked by the whole thing, HOLY S**T, I'm still a little shaken by it. The woman I hit wasn't even mad. I went up to her to see if she was ok, since I did hit her pretty hard, she was fine. She said she was a little shaken herself but she knew it wasn't my fault. She said she was ok, she wasn't mad at me.
It really wasn't my fault but I still feel horrible. I'm not leaving the house for a long time.  :sad:

/comfort.. one winter i hit some black ice and slid out onto the highway where a truck doing 65 was there to greet me. I had 2 broken legs, 3 broken ribs and a shattered shoulderblade. Accidents SUCK! Glad your ok.

That sounds horrible. Yes everyone was ok. I had my brother and two kids with me. I'm happy know one was hurt.

Desiree, were the cops called? was an accident report filed?
Many years ago, I was involved in an accident, and everyone said they were fine.  A year later they were suing me.  Thank God, my insurance company covered me...but it was touch and go because I hadn't filed a police report.
Just a little advice.........

Glad you, your kids and brother are all right.

Yes. I had my cell phone with me, so I called them right away. They sent over an ambulance even though it wasn't needed. Everyone was fine. Everything was done the correct way.

I've been in a few of thoes. Only one when I was driving and it was due to road conditions..

tires slid brong behind me and I went barreling into the very start of a guard rail on an interchange.. The impact point was dead center my passenger door. my friend sitting there was flung into my lap..

I drop the engine out of the car. The transmission came out from the body of the car and my knee actually shatered the case for it.. donno how that happened. I ripped/pulled/ tore every tendon around the area and cracked my knee cap..

When I hit the steering wheel I nailed it with my rib which is now floating meaning it moves way to much and can go in our out of place if I torque myself in the wrong way.. dosent happened often and you just get used to it after a while hehe..

Also had a nasty bruise on my leg filled up with blood had to get it taken out EWWW that was the groses part..

BUT!! the hospital was great the nurses were all flirting with me and being nice and becuase I was being respectfull unlike my obnoxious buddy. They kept the drugs coming and asked if I wanted more just about every 5 minutes.. I know they all gave me well over what they were legally allowed to and I love them to death for it. I was drooling on myself.

hope I didnt try and grab a nurses cute butt or something :laugh:

Everyone said I should have not made it through there so I know im still around for some reason :P just trying to figure out what the heck it is exactly..

maybe it's to annoy my local friends to the point of insanity *shrug* that might not be it but it's sure fun :laugh:

Theres not many things as violet as a car wreck...damn they are freaky and i have walked away from several total outs where everyone went to the hospital but me twice...
I allmost hit a huge Bison Buff that was in the middle of the road one night in Kit Carson Colo...
I went between 2 of them and could even smell them when i went by...I was in a VW bug also so it would have killed us all ...
I was shook up bad and pulled inta a gas station then a Greyhound Bus pulled in and they hit a few Buffalos ...that bus was fucked up bad :crazy:

I hate driving. I wish I could just walk everywhere or at least use public transit. Unfortunatly I live in the west and public transit is unheard of.

This last winter we had an unholy snow. My car got stuck and luckily a truck helped me out. Not only that but my car has no traction at all on the snow and I did a couple 360s and 720s at stop signs. Luck has it that nothing bad happened though.
