Evan Williams is my shit * 2

My first job out of high school besides working on a farm was being the electrician for a carnival. I asked the old guys what can I buy that tastes like jack Daniels but cheaper. That's when Evan Williams became my drink.

I love Evan Williams and diet Pepsi. I fill my cup with ice, then put the whiskey on top and drink it from a straw. Basically I ease into it slow and by the end of the drink it's straight whiskey.

Give me a pint of Evan Williams and a 44 ounce fountain diet Pepsi and by the time it's finished I'm ready to fuck or fight anybody and everybody, depends on your attitude which one you get

I don't care for whiskey but I do get cheap rum to mix with soda and stuff.

Maybe a Whiskey sour, I've had that before and I liked it

I thought Jim Beam was the white trash jack daniels.

Maker's Mark is only Bourbon I drink but its part of the fuck the red states boycott so not restocking it until Trump dies.

I prefer a wheated whiskey like Larceny or Makers myself, but I'm not mixing with coke. If I were I'd go with something like WT 101, or Jim Beam if looking for something a little more muted... though honestly if I were mixing with coke I'd go with either rum or rye depending on what I was looking for.

If you are just looking to get drunk for cheap there are far better, less hangover inducing, options than cheap bourbon and diet coke.

I mean whiskey and bourbon are for people who actually like whiskey in the first place. For when you want to taste the alcohol. And you definitely don't want to taste Evan Williams.

E.W. pretty much only exists for poor people and alcoholics who want to drink bourbon for cultural reasons.

It's fine for mixing up a large batch cocktail for a frat party on the cheap, but I can't imagine it being anyone's go to.

Did you not read the OP? It's part of the carny life, like if you want to be a rapper you drink Hennessy or Cristal but real niggas who shovel elephant shit at the circus drink Evan Williams and if you say anything about it OP will fight you and fuck your girl after.

After a pint of cheap 43% bourbon, he might just fight your girl over fucking you.

If I drank on that scale, I would totally rekindle my moonshining hobby, not to save a buck per se but to create the highest quality booze for myself with all natural ingredients.

At present, a pint of bourbon would last me perhaps 2 years though.
