301 redirects on recent uploads

Here's a recent post with images.

Similarly, when I tried uploading some h264 mp4s to my journal with a known-good encoding (similar files uploaded fine earlier this week), the uploaded files display as having a ballpark right number of bytes, but don't autoplay, and when clicked, autodownload a 167b file with the correct name but the contents

The jpgs above trigger browser errors when it tries to render them, but if the resulting flawed image is saved as txt, it's also the 301 redirect notice.

Yes at the time of posting this comment I just tried to upload a few for a post and ran into into the same issue.

It appears fixed for new uploads, but not for uploads that happened during the time window when it was broken.

eg the linked image example in OP still fails to load, but I'm pretty sure the asset does exist, they're not lost. Reason being...

(presuming you can see my unpublished journal scratchpad)

#29650029 has an attachment that was uploaded during the breakage, and still returns 301.  A few posts later #29650564 has a renamed version of this exact asset uploaded just now, and the post text shows them as being a byte for byte size match, so it seems like the right bytes are somewhere.

Separate issue: only the audio plays, in that post, compared to the one above it which also has video, but that's probably not related
