I don't really think there's an issue as long as you're not a fucking weirdo talking about an underage girl.

I dunno.

Lust has always been foundational in my romantic relationships. In my view, it's only an issue when poorly managed, or not accompanied by any other feelings, or part of an overall pattern of compulsive behavior.

Anyway.

Age GAPS are subjective and highly dependent on context. I think that what actually matters is the ages of the people involved. And even there, not just chronological ages, but mental ages and levels of health/fitness. There are so many different inflection points and potential situations when it comes to stuff like this. Two twelve-year-olds banging is a lot more fucked up than a 30-year-old hooking up with a 50-year-old.

So, yeah. Actual chronological ages would be needed before I could begin to comment on your situation

As I said, grown woman, not a teenage adult woman either, adult adult and mature

I hear you, I guess that's kind of what I'm saying. All my true romances, including my marriage, are kind of predicated on busting a nut and thinking "I could just keep doing this forever."

People are always gonna find ways to throw shade. Especially now. For pretty much anything. It's none of their damn business anyhow. I honestly feel like I came up in a time when that sort of shit basically held me back from pursuing inter-racial liaisons. Like, it wasn't really a big deal, and there were definitely opportunities, but SOMEone somewhere would make it one just because they could, and that was enough to put my younger insecure self off.

Anyway, that particular math doesn't strike me as very extreme in the grand scheme of things. You're both adults, and 40 is honestly verging on "young" these days.

I'd say the bigger issue is where she is in her life, brain development, and hormones. I'm a little over 10 years older than you, I remember 40 and in the grand scheme of things my outlook and priorities haven't changed much since then. But where will she be in 5 years? What's her position on having kids? How will it change? Is she looking to "settle down?" Is she NOT looking for that, but due to suddenly switch up at some point in the future? Where do you fit into all of that?

Anyway, based on my own experiences, glthat's what I would be thinking about. If you can just chill and enjoy the moment and not worry so much about the future, then cool. But starting an LTR with a 20-year-old essentially guarantees changes and turbulence somewhere on the horizon.

Personally I figured out the min I got old was when I started to see 21 to 23 year old women as children. But to young for you leads to issues in later relationships.  In my 30th birthday I went on a date with a 22 year old girl , that later turned into a toxic relationship.  No matter how hot they are mature mentality is the key.  Enjoy your fun.

Its way too soon for me to be concerned with those questions(I only recently decided I don't care about her age anymore), as for long term I go to trial for DUI in September so I can only think about the present.

That's super sad that you let haters stop potential love over race, I too let haters hold me back then after I did what they wanted and stayed away from my biggest crush they STILL hate me! Even more! People just don't like seeing others winning unfortunately. Tis never too late for interracial dating perhaps you should make up for missed opportunities?

Anyway I dreamt of her last night, I saw her and didn't say hi then she didn't say hi and I was stressing over her in my dream(that's how I let things be months back) she now qualifies as a dream girl hopefully she and I can talk about this and figure it out over lunch

Oof, best of luck!

Yeah, I could make up for missed opportunities now, but I'm not sure how my wife would feel about that lol

But I crossed a bunch of other lines in getting together with her, anyhow.
