That happens sometimes. That frozen pep is weird though. Too much and the pizza cooks funky.

I live near a bakery that started out just traditional breads and croissants. They started doing pizza and it was very good. I just recently saw that they are discontinuing everything but pizza. It sucks. I’d order a pizza on Friday, and when picking it up I’d get a chocolate croissant and whatever savory croissant they had(spinach/feta, ham/swiss etc) and have good stuff all weekend. They cook everything in a wood fired brick oven, but now they have a mobile pizza setup. Not sure what that oven is like. Cool guy though. I gave him and his wife foraged oyster mushrooms and chicken of the woods. She said she made an oyster omelette.

Hopefully it was actual truffle (even just powdered in a spice blend or something) instead of truffle oil. The differences cannot be overstated.
