It's just transhumanism, re-branded.

If you look up what used to be those family values they are talking about, systems of rule, and Bible verses that back it all up, conservatives are speaking in empty platitudes without rigor.

199 people personally.  But to each their own to their bandwidth to speak on such matters.

I would like all the people on here like TrancedOutBrah to link Kirk saying such things. I literally never listened to him.

People will never stop being bad, you'd know that if you knew a thing or two about history.

Didn't say people would stop being bad. I asked for links to him saying such things. I've never had time to listen to conservative radio. I had a neighbor that carpooled us to work that listened to Rush Limbaugh for the 20 mins in the day we drove back and forth.

But since then, I never have and never will.

If by "back and forth"

you mean the overwhelming majority of bullying, violence, removal of rights all coming from the far right, then sure, back and forth.

I still remember when Kirk called for bailing out the man who broke into Pelosis home and attacked her husband with a hammer shattering his skull and stated "He did nothing wrong"

I still remember when Kirk called for Bidens execution

I still remember when Kirk said "Civil rights were a mistake, minorities shouldn't vote, women shouldn't vote. Women should be subservient to men."

I still remember all the times conservative fucks pretend like they care about kids, "pro-life" they say, until they are born, and then they could give less of a fuck about em.

Pretending like these things weren't going to happen with or without his death at some point is just fool-hearty.

We have military on our streets, we have ICE locking up an detaining legal citizens, we have them intimidating democratic candidates.

The fuck you mean back and forth. If anything we should be doing MORE to fight back against this bullshit. You already KNOW Trump is going to try to steal the midterms, you already KNOW Trump is going to try to be president for a third time if he's still alive by then.

It's fucking nonsense. I'll celebrate every stupid god damn idiotic death who deserves their grave to get pissed on.

MAGA and all its supporters are pathetic trash.

While I do take note of his rhetoric, I believe most things you listed there are quoted without full context or nuance. Please don't interperet that I am saying he did not say those things or that I agree with what he said, but there was a reasoning behind most of those statements from a republican perspective.

What I fear is something that is already happening whereby people are being categorised as Nazis in your country. In effect this is dehumanizing them and making viewpoints such as your own easily digestible and ultimately making good people justify bad behaviour.

Who hasn't fantasized about killing a Nazi? It's the most justified murder-fantasy.

But I honestly don't think Kirk or even Trump is on par with the regime that killed millions of people.

What do you make of the gay, trans, black people and women who vouch for Charlie Kirk?

Do you honestly believe that a televised assassination of a conservative figure wasn't enough, and the Trump administration also needed people being mean online in order to justify another fascist consolidation of power?

I think it shifted public opinion even further. People are applauding people losing their jobs for celebrating kirks death. So its not such a big leap for trump to say that kimmel celebrated his death therefore he deserves to be fired. Even though he didnt say anything about kirk people believe it easier because they personally saw "the left" celebrating the assassination.

In every comment section about kimmel its filled with people saying the same people who cheered Charlie's death are upset about a comedian losing their job fuck them.

Yes I do believe it moved the needle.

Remake
Why some supporters you mentioned? Farmers voted for trump knowing he would ruin thier markets.  It is about like lone wolfs out there that kill people.  People can be strange is the answer in my opinion.  Lots of people fuck themselves all the time, sometimes just to pretend they are different. I think linden Johnson had it right when he said
Quote:
“If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you.”

See how much trump cares.

He cares more about the gold on the toilet seat.

As far as kirk, The trump admin is opportunist, they use everything in the worst way whether it is polosi or kirk cause thier whole thing is outrage and owning the libs.  I am not positive that they are not happy he died for the tool they think he gave them but caring for human life is not part of thier thinking.  Now tool for power is another thing.

To your point,  there was a reason from a republican perspective for kirks statements.  He believed some people where better then other people.  He believed in the great replacement theory.  He had agenda and founded a organization on it.  He shouldn't have been shot but getting shot won't change his life while here.

Stop kidding yourself dude.

As soon as it happened the right claimed it was a trans gay antifa terrorist and started calling for civil war -before they'd even caught the guy. We still don't have a manifesto, or any other hard proof of what his motives were.

Who celebrated? Where was this party that I wasn't invited to? Who personally did you see celebrating?
Oh you mean people tweeted something other than a crying emoji? People said they weren't sad?
Folks make irreverent jokes every day, welcome to the internet.

Don't be a useful idiot for fascists.  They have already proven they will use this event as cynically as they can to grab as much power as possible.

I hope it moves the needle. I hope more people look into kirk, and realize what the right-wing in this country really stands for, who they idolize and lift up as heroes.

As much as I hate to quote AI.  This should answer your question.
Quote:
Dr. Eduard Bloch: This Jewish physician treated Hitler's mother, Klara, during her final illness with breast cancer in 1907. Hitler expressed gratitude toward Bloch, and after the Nazi annexation of Austria, he arranged for Bloch to receive special protection and eventually emigrate to the United States.
Rosa Bernile Nienau: From 1933 to 1938, Hitler maintained a pen-pal friendship with this young girl, who was of Jewish descent. Their correspondence was reportedly a secret between the two of them. The friendship ended only after Nazi officials discovered her heritage and forced her to stop communicating with Hitler.
Emil Maurice: A watchmaker and an early associate of Hitler, Maurice was a key member of the Nazi Party who later became Hitler's personal chauffeur. When it was discovered that Maurice had Jewish ancestry, Hitler personally intervened to protect him and declare him an "honorary Aryan".
It is important to understand that these relationships did not change Hitler's virulent antisemitism, which he expressed publicly from at least 1919 and codified in his book Mein Kampf. His later actions, which led to the murder of six million Jews during the Holocaust, show that his personal interactions with a few Jewish individuals did not prevent him from pursuing a genocidal agenda.

I mean, people are people.  I know people that are friendly on a personal bases with people they hate in abstract.

Why would this surprise you.  In the quoted example, who are the strange ones?  The ones that liked hitler or hitler cause of the ones he liked?

The general fear in my book is he will do as hitler a control the populace in the same fashion and it won't matter if you like him or not, out of line once and off with your head.  Plus, he is fucking up the world and will do what most facist do and get us in an unjust war for unjust reasons.  It won't be self defense.  We are joining the axis of evil.  lastly. america is for sale and trump is for personal profit.  The strait white christens may think they will do well but just like the nazi party members, it is destruction in the end.

Can you not see a manufactured controversy in front of you? These are the same people who memed the George Floyd challenge and All Lives Splatter. You're allowing blatantly hypocritical people to convince you that a scattering of random people across a nation of 300 million are the reason they are going to crack down on everything from Jimmy Kimmel to antifa. This is not an authentic response, it's a bad faith attempt to use your own morals against you.

You think people believe it easier because they personally saw "the left" celebrating the assassination... Did you not see how many people completely switched up on Epstein in response to Trump’s change of rhetoric? They don't need any extra motivation.

From what I've seen, the minority of posts that were blatantly celebratory came from unconnected personal accounts - not from any organizations or elected officials. That's all it took to paint "the left" in its entirety, and would be hard enough to prevent on its own - but on today's internet with anonymous trolls and bot farms? It's impossible to prevent. If this if the standard we must keep in order to not be designated domestic terrorists, we've already lost. The idea that if we just behave properly, the fascists will leave us alone is misguided. Acting as if the current response from the Trump administration is in any way reasonable because of how "the left" reacted to Charlie Kirk's killing is enabling fascist over reach.

It's like all the people who say 'Trump wants people to fight back against ICE so he has an excuse to declare martial law, so we can't fight back' - all the while, your rights are slowly pecked away anyways. You need to base your resistance on what you believe to be effective - not on what you believe will pacify Maga.

Is that not what happened to Charlie Kirk?

He said some things out of line with the opposing ideology and got murdered for it?

At the very least - under the presumption that his death was a conspiracy - is the celebration of his death and the sentiment that he deserved it or that it is funny/ironic - not on par with a regime that relishes in silencing its oponents?

Have the fears of him being this authoratarian character already come into fruition or is it moslty fears of a possible future which requires some assumptions and speculations?

That is just stupid.  The Oklahoma bomber killed more on the left then all the ones using left ideology.  The school shooters have thier reason but nobody thinks everybody who ever went to school is guilty too.  What is your game?

What trump is doing is not normal and is not slowing down, what is your cut off to be convinced?  It is the whole republican leadership at this point.  Are you sincere?

I'm not quite comprehending what you are saying.

Do you mean to say that all people on the left are not to blame for Charlie Kirks murder?

If that is what you mean - I agree with that. That would be stupid. Only the shooter is to blame.

I'm just noting that some people are making the argument that Charlie Kirk deserved to die because of what he said, and also trying to understand what he has actually done, and trying to understand if Trump's authoritarianism is in full swing or if it is based on assumptions and speculations.

I am not saying that you should do that. I am giving a hypothetical situation.
