Precisely. An admin isn't someone special. An admin is just another user; I'm not sure why they get so much praise for their personalities. Plenty of members here have outstanding personalities.

I have seen both sides of matts. Touch on his sensitive side and without warning, he'll delete your posts, and the posts of others. I disagreed with him, and he resorted to childish name calling in an effort to advocate his point. That is barely the role-model behavior I would like to see a moderator/adminstrator exhibit, should their behaviors be elevated. Therefore, I actually applaude his self demotion so that he is not tempted to commit these kinds of actions in the future.

What lies am I spreading, matts? Maybe I jumped to a conclusion, and you requested threads to be deleted (but you were an admin at the time, so I assumed that you did it yourself; that is the only somewhat logical alternative I can consider), but I find that to be unlikely. Maybe the moderators of the Marketplace forum deleted your post because it someone began to yell, but usually they just get locked, not deleted. But what happened to MikeOLogical's thread? I'm sure I didn't delete my posts in the Marketplace and the other informative thread didn't delete itself! You know which ones. Please do not call me a liar. I have witnesses to my claims, do you?

Also, I have seen no attempts to "[try] to be nice to [me]" on your behalf whatsoever. The only things I have witnessed since our short-lived reunion are brusque and uncalled for choices that you made.

In response to kiss....I think matts is just fine, i fucked up by giving him a wrong addy to send stuff, and he sent it again, not asking anything more of me. Doesnt sound like an asshole to me. And to matts, ill repay you for that. Ive been kinda laggin sorry.

Was locked probably because of the flaming in the thread which isn't tolerated in the mp and it wasn't really a mp post to begin with. As to why the orginal poster wasn't notified well you'd have to ask the mod who locked it, i usually don't notify people unless they seriously break the rules, and before you ask who locked it, i forget. it was a mp mod though.

See daba, you are just paranoid. Another mod (I think it was A'keneneka) put it in the town dump. If you were a mod, you would be able to see the dump. This is a place which allows a mod of the forum to send a bad thread, where the normal users can not see it.

No. You speak with no facts. You speak with assumption. There is a difference. If you knew the "FACT" then you would have said "Oh, a moderator of the forum, probably the same one who locked the thread, moved it to the town dump!" (aka... "the" fact), rather than saying "HE DID IT! MATTS DID IT!! THEY ARE ALL AGAINST ME, AHHHH" (the "misinformation").

It bears no importance now. The threads have been deleted, and you have been de-admined. I come to these boards for fun and information, and that's about it; you assume that I place the Shroomery much higher than in my life than it actually is. Regardless, thanks for the update on the threads. Next time, I think the mods should notify the typical member of the boards when a thread has been manipulated. It went to the town dump, which you said moderators could only see. Now you blame me for assuming something which I could not have possibly known?

I have tried to keep my replies to your naive articulation as civil as possible. Keep in mind that every other post made by you brings about negativity or complaining about some thing or the other about these boards. Those who see beyond your technical contributions have noticed this. Indeed, your self-demotion was perhaps the best choice you have made in your attitude.

There is no more point in arguing over this, and it is time for me to use the Shroomery as I intended to in the first place. Reply as you may.

I thought it did notify you. It might only notify you if you type in a message though. I always thought it did notify you whether you leave a message or not.
