Need Undergrad Chemistry Independent Study Idea

Hey all,
I am currently working on a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and am currently attending a junior college. I need some kind of idea for what subject matter to research at that level. Id love it to be Phenethylamine related in some not politically sensitive way but maybe that's naive.. I would love suggestions from someone more knowledgeable than myself.

That's not really how it works. You have to come to them with what you want to study and have a professor agree to oversee you before you enroll in the course. Very few people take it.

I think that it's better to choose something that is interesting to you and then have a talk with the professor. You will need approval for sure, and maybe they will help you with some ideas and research directions. When I need to write something like this, I always talk with professors. Such tasks are not easy, and it's good that I found https://chat.openai.com/g/g-a0ULgFcuZ-essay-helper, which helps me a lot with some parts or grammar.  And there are other extra informational resources which provide everything needed to write quality research.

And you want to walk yourself in there to your mentorship professor and say "I want to make hallucinogenic amphetamines"?

He will probably say it's too late the damn Shulgins used them all up.

I apologize that I really can't think of you any good project things off the top of my head but I just thought it might not be a good idea to go Waltzing into your school and say "I want to redo pickle and tickle right here on the campus"

I mean we know all about "stuff" and I'm surprised you haven't already done that class about poisoning all your friends to death with a half a degree mistake or spending the rest of your life in prison from stirring LSD down a missle silo.

I Wouldn't pick anything from the rhodium and if it was erowid id claim to be looking for the "medical molecule"

I'm back - if you want to do something psilocybey, you could always look at continuing works like joachin gartz? He was the great chemical analyzer and was persuing a chemical he thought might be the "good trip" chemical, which you could be sucking out of mushrooms right there in front of God and everybody?
