Sorry the Vote only allows for 1 vote, it was the same way in the old Bulletin Board.

I am in the vote because I want it to be fair for everyone... So the 2 most voted for people will moderate the new forum.

Sorry folks, but I'm going to de-nominate myself, I have my hands full with this forum and the hunting forum, plus I moderate a few forums at other various websites. Thanks for the nomination though :)

PHP is an open source language so you(Aphex) can see the source code in the PHP file.

I am very proficient in PHP and MySQL so I offered to help out with things like this but he hasn't accepted my offer...... I don't guess he wants to modify the board (or anyone else to).

With PHP 4 you can choose to "compile" or "encrypt" the source code but not many people do.

Hey Tom, sorry, I must have missed that.... But I did give a warning out for people to check my list that I posted last night. I asked for people to make sure it was OK and that I would post the poll today....

Here's my post
In reply to:

"OK folks, heres the list so far, I will post the election tommorow, so please make sure to reply if you want to add someone or be added... Once the vote starts, its impossible to modify the poll....

Thor
McMan
Lizard King
3DSHROOM
Dioze1
NuShroomPharmerII
King Celery
Kast
Bluehoney

Please for all you people considering the job of moderator or for those who vote: Moderators do not need to be regular posters, helpfull people, etc.... Moderators need to be :

Fair, spend a fair bit of time browsing the board, can't be vendors, neutral and good tempered....

And for any of you nominees, if you don't have the time to moderate, please do so... A moderator who doesn't check in much is pretty much useless"

So I feel bad Tom, but I did allow people to catch this mistake before the Election, but nobody did, not even you Tom...

OK, I already voted but, I too want Thor to be able to move threads. I think that it should be Thor and the man with the most votes!

I think there should be a 'mod for a day' contest. it would be like getting a peek into an aircraft cockpit. You'f get to learn how everything works, delete a few threads, ban somebody for the day maybe....it would be fun!
