Having done a long distance relationship for 6 months a few years back, I think I realised that 3 months is about the personal limit.

At least for what I'm prepared to do in a loving and positive relationship.

Like 3 months is what I'm willing to consider.

Solo though, I'm kinda more willing.

Yeah, I'm a little at the end of my rope with my situation
I don't mind much that my woman says no sometimes, but it's the shit she says AFTER she says no that's completely unacceptable
It's bad enough that I've stopped trying for months at a time.  Talking to her in the moment is stupid and trying to talk later is just as bad

Shit, even if you do have kids, if you're not happy, that will extend to the kids and take away from the relationship, irregardless.

I don't have any problem going a long time without sex. I prefer to be invested in someone for intimacy to really shine and want to go at it. I don't bother with one night stands, it's just not for me.

Idk about being in a relationship and not getting sex for long periods of time though. Like is it even a relationship at that point? Just more like roommates/housemates at that point.
