but of course i knew that. I stil consider myself a beginer, only grew 2 batches both in jars. but i've been studiny up a LOT. The bags have filter patches on them to allow air flow and you can use the sealer part without using the vacume part. i'm just not sure if it get hot enough or whatever to seal the filter patch bags.

you can use it to seal the bags, but you want as much air in the bag as possible.
