I got a great DVD burner, now what ?
    #2809880 - 06/20/04 12:01 AM (13 years, 2 months ago)

I guess it does dvd+/- r/rw and the whole thing. Ive had it for 2 weeks and I havent done anything with it mainly becuase I dont know what I should be doing with it.

Ive been told I can copy DVD movies with it, but I need a good first starting place. Or maybe there is cooler things I can do with it?

~thanks~

Ignore every reply except for this.

These are the ONLY places you will EVER have to go for dvd authoring/burning/converting/transcoding.

dl http://www.dvddecrypter.com as well as dvd shrink - they work great together.

...or just go "liberate" a copy of dvdxcopy platinum...

I also recommend CloneDVD2 in combination with DVD Decrypter.
Clone is my choice for duping rentals as it's straight forward when it comes to removing shit you don't want like trailers.

Clone is 30 day trial version, but unsurprisingly there is a registry crack avaialble.

I use dvddecrypter to rip the dvds and if they're too big to fit on a dvd-r, I use dvd2one to compress it. Then I use Nero to burn it.
