cant login?

Hey, I cant log on to the shroomery on my laptop
at home.  It just refreshes me back to the list of
forums as if I weren?t logged in.  my boyfriend cant
login on my computer, either.

However, I can login on my campus computers, and at my
boyfriends house.

What is going on here?  I haven?t changed any of my
settings?

Please help!  Thanks!

That, my lady, would appear to be a cookie issue.  I take it someone who has used the shroomery on your computer has clicked "remember me next time" or whatever that little check-box says to keep you logged in non-stop.

The following will have a 90% chance of fixing your problem (keeping in mind 67.3% of statistics are made up):
If that fails to work, you may wish to try manually deleting all your cookies which can be done through MSIE by going to the "Tools" menu --> "Internet Options" and choosing --> "Delete Cookies"

If the problem persists, I would recommend emailing one of our tech's :sun:

of course i tried that, it didnt work. my bf and i have been logging in and out of the shroomery for 7 months with no problem.

i still cant login on my computer, just refreshes back to the main index without logging me in. right now i'm on a computer on my college campus. i would really appreciate it if someone worked on this.

I think it has something to do with IE.  I downloaded netscape and logged in just fine, no problems.  But IE is still refreshing me back to the main index.
Any guesses?

Check your computer's date/time and make sure they are correct.

okay well i downloaded netscape and it works, it doesnt work on IE.

i'll try reinstalling IE because i dont like netscape

date and time didnt change anything, it's the same as it has always been--correct.

you might have to download IE or something.. then when it goes through all the bs it will prolly be like "you already have a current version of IE would you like to reinstall"...something along those lines

well, i havent done anything and it's working on IE now... :wtf:

very strange happenings, but oh well!  i'm glad things are back to normal.
