I dont really like this genre of music but a girl I have been dating loves these guys. It is kind of a rap/punk music, its really not bad at all. I just bought to tickets to see them in concert at the end of this month.

Yeah i saw them ...well, sorta saw them here in Phx. They had like 3 punk bands before and they really sucked so, by the time they came one i had such a headache that i had to leave :frown: But, I got two of their songs on one of those little vinal recordz. UUuummm.... Peace not greed and Coffee shop. I am a big fan mayself :wink:

It's a strong belief of mine that anyband that goes that far with makeup, is not in it for the music..So that alone should tell they suck, there terrible, there not musicians there 'showpeople' along with kiss and twisted sister..

Makeup is NOT needed in music...and it make's me sad knowing that these people sell more records because of there appereance than some very talented and well deserving musicians.. please don't buy there records

oh yea! that's who i was thinking off, I'm not even sure if the kottonmouth kings wear makeup....i got the two mixed up so that's not saying much for the 'kings'

I've never really listened to them but I have heard of them so I looked them up and listen to some of their songs.

there's still good music coming out though...the strokes, joe strummers last album with the mescalaro's, ween, RHCP, PJ, etc.. etc...


Buuut, for the most part i agree with you blu3, good bands these days are far and few between....

I just saw this band last night and they were awesome. I dont know where you guys are getting that they suck. Both bands that opened for them OPM and Strawman were both excellent, especially strawman. All of the bands put on an excellent show, especially the kottonmouth kings. The band was really cool and even came down and sat with the fans after the show. There was also a shit load of weed smoking going on, I only brought in one joint but I was getting high by just breathing. I was suprised at how small the show was, only about 100 people there, and I was 3 feet from the stage the whole time.
All I can say about these guys is they put on an excellent show and are touring with some awesome bands this summer, if they come through your area you should definatley check them out.
