We have a baby, so we can't really go out and meet people, nor can we really invite anyone into our home who we don't know (bad idea regardless). it's tricky enough finding alone time just the two of us, much less a third. The only friends I have here in this state are co-workers who are all romantically involved/ married or otherwise not an option.
    Neither of us is okay with inviting anyone from the pool of people she knows because it needs to be a guy who's respect and friendship with me predates the idea of sleeping with my wife. I know a guy like this (and his wife obv).

Although that's the terminology he used, thinking about it yes it's different to him being a cuckold.
