Nope, no direct deposit ever for me. and why wait to midnight? Can't spend it unless you are buying drugs. Are you buying drugs at midnight and which kind?

Self-employed, so absolutely yes. The second Square transfers my shit, I light up. It's very reassuring knowing the money is on the way, and it'll clear by midnight. Getting paid every single day > a weekly/biweekly paycheck (I make more now than I ever did anyway).

I haven’t felt a rush over money for a long time.  I have way more than I could ever need so getting more doesn’t do anything for me.  It makes my life boring at some point.  No challenge

I try not to think about it to avoid the nervousness. I just patiently wait for it to come around. I got a huge rush the first few times I got a large direct deposit at 2 am, but since then I'm used to it, unfortunately.
Though when I get raises and see my bi-weekly deposit increase I get a rush.
And I get a rush when I get my yearly bonus direct deposit

You must be getting 15k or something nothing ever like that has come close to happening to me except for when I played mmorpgs and the boss would drop something worth millions in game money nothing in real life gives me that kinda rush besides drugs, music, hate, and death:lol:
