The FBI working in conjunction with authorities in multiple nations has arrested several individuals in connection with their involvement in Deep Dot Web, a website that allegedly profiteered by taking commissions on referral links to dark web markets, TechCrunch reported on Tuesday. It has also seized domains affiliated with the site and replaced them with takedown notices.

The dark web consists of networks that are not accessible without using specific software, configurations, or other tools—such as the Tor project. Most of it is abandoned or garbage (unless you know what you’re looking for, at least), but it’s also played host to sprawling black markets that have allegedly rolled in hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue. Authorities, however, have greatly thinned the ranks of such web destinations, taking down marketplaces like AlphaBay and Silk Road over the course of the past decade. This case, however, seems to go one step further, as Deep Dot Web did not directly process black market auctions but instead acted as a sort of dark web index and news site.

According to the Times of Israel, arrests of suspects went down in “France, Germany, the Netherlands, Brazil, and Israel,” with the suspects in Israel reported as “a 35-year-old resident of Tel Aviv and a 34-year-old resident of Ashdod.”

While merely publishing links to black market sites is not in and of itself illegal—something that seems like it will be very likely to play a role in the suspects’ criminal defense—the takedown notice currently on the website cites U.S. federal statutes on money laundering, as well as civil and criminal forfeiture. The Times of Israel reported that authorities accuse Deep Dot Web administrators of making “millions of dollars in commission through their referrals,” which Israeli police tweeted was a sort of Bitcoin-based kickback scheme.

News of Deep Dot Web’s takedown follows news last week that authorities in the U.S. and Europe had busted dark web black market hub Wall Street Marketand arrested numerous individuals accused of operating it, with FBI Special Agent Leroy Shelton writing in court documents that it was “one of the largest and most voluminous darknet marketplaces of all time.” Authorities alleged the Wall Street Market site not only trafficked in drugs, weapons, and stolen data, but that its operators prepared an exit scam in which they stole approximately $11 million from user accounts the month before the bust.

Couldn't they  essentially do do the same thing to weed maps at the federal level?

I live in a recreational state.  The police ordered Marijuana off weed maps and then arrested the delivery guy for sale without a license. Sale of any amount of hash is a felony unless of course there is a license. Legal Recreational Possession is 5 grams for hash. A vape cart is <=1G of hash aka concentrate.
I bring up vape carts are hash because hash has a harsher penalty and the weed maps vendorswho are unlicensed because my state has not issued any rec licenses yet. Sell the crap out of vape carts around the city.

Some states see vape pens as "not covered under marijuana decrim" because its not "marijuana". This is of course bullshit but its a way cops can still arrest kids just vaping their damn pens. Since its much harder for them to bring in people who have a bit of weed, i think the whole police building finds that shit lame at this point. Maybe in the george bush days they could be like "look, got a whole fuckin' ounce off these dumbasses". But now its just seen as unfair even by other officers.

Especially if say its a blunt only, or a gram or less of flower. The thing is usually people busted with such small amounts are kids so theyll try to say "you have a drug problem and we need to save you from yourself"

If the federal government was truly hell bent on it and didnt care about repercussions at all, they could try to shut down state-run MJ but outrage would go all the way up to the governor's office

Hell they cant even do much in illegal states because everyone wants legalization and its dangled like a carrot in front of a horse

They are starting to make vape 21 laws. This probably has to do with confusion over  0%nic/nicotine/cbd/thc vapes. Make them all 21 which is the norm age for rec mj.

Some states are even moving smoking tobacco up to 21.

Things a cat might put in dab thinner ejuice: Shatter, Vicodin, Coke, CBD concentrate,Dab refuse (42%THC)

What is "dab thinner"? What brand? Is it just PGVG? (Propylene glycol + vegetable glyc)

I really dont trust carts these days. I use One brand that i know is from cali (at least from the one source i use) and i know its actually c02. I can get what i think are real KingPen too but i just dont trust them as much as the tried and true c02 carts. There are so many brands now that pretend to be real with chinese packaging (china makes both real and fake kings, for example) and sometimes dealers just fill it up with their own cut distillate. And in a worse scenario youre smoking a synthetic cannabinoid from china. (This HAS happened to 50+ people who simply wanted CBD oil but it had a powerful synthetic in there, as well as people just getting sick from fake carts)

I think the safe thing to do if you like vaping: :volcano: GET A VOLCANO! :volcano: but for people who wanna be discreet and all that, just use a cheaper wax pen and you can get just as good of a smoke on the go, but perhaps even more potent and cheaper

I thought in stores you had to be 18-21 to buy nicotine juice anyway? I mean i dont mind that. I just hope they dont start banning flavors in an attempt to stop kids from liking ejuice. It actually is much smarter to just make it 21+ and not fuck with the vape market (besides the kiddies who wanna smoke, its not hard getting a cigarette lol, thats how i remember smoking as a teen LOL)

Like if these kids cant handle a cig, they shouldnt be able to buy nicotine. And anyway im glad smoking nicotine is getting phased out. Its something ive had to quit, and its a potentless yet tough as nails addiction. I know people who took oxycontin 80s everyday and quit yeears ago but still cant stop smoking

I fill my own with a glass dropper and a torch to warm it up to a fluid state like melt d butter. Dab thinner is a blend of PG&PEG300,400 others.  Basically 10 drops to a gram of shatter melt it stir ir up real good warm up the dropper warm up the metal in the cart drop it in the cart. I can stuff an 1/8 into a 5ml subohm tank

Heroin addicts,gunrunners, and even an exit scam.Whom is stupid enough to pay money to these sleazebags.The dark web can stay down, as it is inhabited by mankind's lowliest and  crappiest .The FBI would feel right at home, buying from them.
