not too big on IPAs, too hoppy... i've been drinking a lot of this lately, it's pretty good. one of the locals out here.

That was the favourite of one of my fellow mods, who is now RIP unfortunately.

Enjoyed drinking a few of those together when I first arrived in America.

I just cracked open a Two Hearted Ale American IPA. Really good stuff. Makes my piss smell like cat piss.

A friend gave me a "Focal Banger" and "Heady Topper" last weekend.
They are very rare around here, and both were cherished.

They both have really good ratings on beer advocate. If the liquor stores around here have them, I’m going to be trying them.

both those beers are in the same category of sip of sunshine in my mind. 10 years ago when it first came out u had to look all over to even find it even tho it was brewed in state. These were boarderline white whale beers at the time. then a bunch of bros with no brain or tastebuds in thier head found out about it and started ordering it places u couldnt even get it. then over night it seemed that you saw stacks of cases of it everywhere sitting out warm even. lo and behold the beer even if kept well wasnt the same quality at all. infact it was terrible a travesty really. but amazingly they some more of it faster than ever to rave reviews from the bros who will tell u it's "the best beer in the world bro you dont know cuz uve only been drinking it for 7 years before I even knew about it." the fact is shit was alot different back then in alot of ways. Are heady topper and focal way better than sip? absolutely they're fantastic. are they mindblowing...certainly not. the fact is the game has been turned up like 40 notches since then. it's like talking about a book when your on two different pages.

Lagunitas.  One of my favorites.  Will down a six pack today.  Great taste and buzz to it, quality.  Plus I like the quirkiness of their marketing ways, always reminds me of Cali.  Find it amusing.

laguanitas is another one that was good as a micro but now that its macro it's kinda disappointing. I did have a good Waldo a few months back.

yes psudosue is a fan fucking tastic shelfie. Always a solid go to back up if ur in some random liquor store with only shitty beer. just make sure it's not old as fuck and preferably kept cold. Such a great value. I'm just spoiled. cuz I can get things like crucial mass or super duper for cheaper. Keep an eye out for the king sue if u can find it or ask ur plug (red can). theres also dry hopped Verizon of psudo in bottles. But yah that beer is great cheap and everywhere. solid brew. top 3? not even in the same galaxy
