Anyone here play their favorite tracks while playing? Its a whole different experience. I remembered i replayed zelda oot with killswitch engage playing and the two fit perfectly so ill never forget playing that with good music. Dont get me wrong, the game's music is good, but putting something else on will change the gameplay for me.

Without a doubt.

First I started with rave music and random dance-style hip-hop back in my Unreal Tournament 2004 days. Every time I hear certain songs, it takes me back to those old PC gaming days in Unreal. Good times!

Now, I basically only play Chill Dubstep/Glitch-Hop when I play Halo 5. I find the music fits so well.

I usually turn the music off on war games so I can. Kind of emerse myself in the "realism." For instance, call of duty world at war on veteran campaign mode. If you hear those kill zone grenades drop, one should throw back or run quick depending on the number of grenades.

Although, I do like to play some music with my bros during a zombie or worms match.

I usually like playing my music during driving games. That is really fun, man. I remember always blasting hip hop music during my days playing Driver. And heavy metal music when I'd play Call of Duty. Lol... only on the solo missions though.

Depends on the game I guess. Smash Bros., definitely. Zelda, I usually let the game's music immerse me. FPSs like Halo are great for intense music too, but only on campaign.

The elder scrolls was probably the only game i could vibe out on with its soundtracks. Jeremy Soule is a legend.

For realz. Sometimes the game music fits perfect, other times i need something a little different. I always keep the sound effects on. Its not a game without sound effects.
