non-stable and sporous political nature of this
sub-region.

The original contractors have been duely paid by the
Banque Centrale Des Etats De L`Afrique De L`Ouest
(Central Bank of the West African States)This
balanceis suspended in the escrow accounts awaiting
claims by any foreign company of our choice.I intend
to pay out this fund now as the organisation is
winding up its activities.

Based on the laws and ethics of employment,we as civil servants working under
this organisation, are not allowed to operate a foreign account.This is the more
reason why we needed your assistance to provide an account that can sustain this
fund for safe keeping and our future investment with your comprehensive
advise,assistance and partnership in your country.

I have two options for you,FIRSTLY,you can choose
to have certain percentage of the money for nominating
your account for this transaction,or you can go into
partnership with me for the proper profitable
investment of the money in your country.

If you do not prefer a partnership, 10% will be for any expenses incure in the
course of this transfer,I am willing to give you 20% of the total amount ,while
the remaining 70% will be for my investment in your country, Which ever the

they are scams... as soon as you give them the info, they drain your bank account of all funds rather than add funds to it.

Hahaha, yeah, these email have been going around for sometime.  They're just scams.  Funny though.  Once they get the authorization to access your account, bye bye money :smile:

Nigerian scammer sent to Welsh slammer

A WELSH COURT has jailed a man for 20 months for email fraud.

Peter Okoeguale, 33, admitted being involved in the Nigerian 419 scam which flooded email inboxes with a promised a share of cash if they help with shifting cash out of Africa.

When Okoeguale was arrested he had floppy disks which could scan websites for e-mail addresses and for sending "spam".

North Wales Police said that discs found on Okoeguale contained thousands of e-mail addresses and telephone numbers of companies and individuals from Scotland, the USA, the Middle East, and the Far East.

Using the documents officers traced 11 victims, including one in Scotland who lost up to ?20,000, and a retired 72-year-old American businessman who lost $46,500.

Okoeguale pleaded guilty to going equipped to cheat and is the first person to be prosecuted in north Wales for advance fee fraud.

Okoeguale, who lives in Ireland where he has a wife and son, was arrested as he boarded a Holyhead ferry.

The prosecution said he had fake documents, one of which was headed 'Nigerian Police Force Contract Investigation Section' and urged the recipients to forward the details of any contact by corrupt government officials.

Okoeguale claimed he had been delivering the items to someone else and did not know anything about the Nigerian scam.

Judge John Rogers QC recommended Okoeguale's deportation at the end of the sentence. ?

I've had similar ones where they tell you that you won $20,000.00 in prizes but they need you to send $500.00 for shipping so they can send them to you! I answered a pay phone at work and got one of these I told him I had cash but couldn't leave work so if he wanted to come by and collect that would be great. You guessed it he hung up.
