Do you live in CANADA? If so where? I live in Calgary and I got my spores legitamitly (sp?) at a store downtown. They came in a kit but I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find just the spores or a syring. In other words don't bother ordering them. There might be stores you can get them from or that will get them for you. There's quite a few in Calgary. Good Luck.

I have a buddy that lives in Kitchener/Waterloo that can hook you up with prints.

The Toronto Hemp Co. advertises spore syringes on their site in the miscellaneous section. Also petri plates with a print for $ 34.95. Finding a print is part of the fun :wink:

The things that really stuck out in my mind was that:

-these syringes were cloudy with spores
-It was a place in BC

I'm not sure if the word "captain" was involved...

I'm looking to try out some B+....

just check the links section there are a couple of places. Captian max mushroom comes to mind. i've used him before, he's cheap and a nice guy.

You probably want to hold up on ordering from Captain Max right now, I think he's on vacation which means you'll be waiting quite a long time for your spores to arrive. 3Mshrooms (I think) is another Canadian supplier. Personally I've never ordered from him but I've heard good endorsements.

Yes, the Spore Lab in Vancouver is shutting down for a few weeks while I head north on a mushroom picking adventure. I won't be leaving for another week or so but I've stopped taking orders because I don't want any loose ends left when I leave.
However, if you are in Canada, you can still order because it only takes a couple days in the mail within Canada.
Deadline for Canadian orders is this weekend.

Anyone else get their spore syringe from Toronto Hemp Co.? :smile:

I got mine. Germination takes 5 days. Mycellium spreads considerably faster on brown rice than on rye (using MMGG for both methods).

Haven't gotten to the fruiting stage yet. Have about 3 more days until I can birth the first (1/2 jar). It's my third time trying (tried 2 times 3 years ago) but this is the first time anything actually started growing.

I'll borrow a digital camera to show it in its glory when the time is right, if I can find one.

My syringes are usually dark with spores. I use a full print per syringe. Captain Max deals some quality syringes too. Either one of us will be able to set you up
