Hi I have taken 80mg of oxycodone and my breathing has slowed down a lot will I be ok?

If you're not on any depressants like alcohol or benzos you should be fine but don't take any chances if things get worse.

That is extremely dangerous advice. Seek medical attention now OP.
Thats more than enough to kill a small non tolerant user, and we have no idea if OP is tolerant or his/her size

Seriously? No ones going to mention to leave a note near you and door unlocked with a phone ready to call 911 WCS if OP needs narcan as I assume they don't have it. Inform someone of your condition and if you can't do what I first mentioned if you aren't worried enough to call emergency services.

Er meds usually take 2 1/2-3 hours to reach peak effect. If you are okay by the 4th hour you should be fine, but it won't wear off until the 10th+ hour likely longer due to your low usage.

Edit: if you still feel difficulty breathing by the 4th hour definitely call emergency. Don't wait till the 4th hour if you feel difficulty breathing. Better to do it too early even if it's unneeded rather than be so late that it's too late when you do need it.

How often do you take 40mg?

If you mean you have taken 40mg a few times, thats not enough to build a tolerance

if you have been taking 40mg regularly then 80mg is probably not going to kill you but as olson said dont take any chances

I have told a friend and I'm not feeling sick or anything so I don't think I need to ring for an emergency. Its been a couple of hours now so should be fine I think.

Honestly, with the way shit is going around here (southern Ontario) with the fake pills and heroin, I wouldn't be doing any opioids, even pressed pills, without narcan kits and sober sitters.

People are dropping all over the place from all the stuff that is tainted with fentanyl or analogues.

OP, where did you get the "oxycodone" from? A doctor? Pharmacy?

A large amount of the pills on the street in north america are now actually fake and pressed with much stronger, deadlier, harder to dose opioids like fentanyl, or even carfentanil which is ridiculously potent.

You should be careful, especially if you live in an area where this stuff is prevalent, but it's seeming to be spreading through North America pretty quickly :shrug:

Man, when I was in college I got my hands on a couiple hundred oxycodone 10 mgs. I would eat like two an hour every hour for days. I guess it really is a wonder I'm not dead yet.

Taking 10's like that and titrating up is just about as safe dosing as you can do, aside from the hourly dosages. I've never even seen a 10mg pill before. Not that they don't exist there's just way less people trying to get high off them.
