Anyone given the record a listen?

Weezy is back! With spectacular, blonde balding dreadlocks and all.
It's been since the Carter III that I've been waiting for Wayne to come back.
In spectacular fucking fashion.

If you just listen to one song; check out Mona Lisa ft Kendrick ... So fucking good.

Dedication 7 as well. It's amazing.

"If you're going to say Weezy don't forget the fucking baby" :lol: I always wondered if that was a reference Birdman and Wayne fucking in the early days. :shrug:

Look at all these rappers nowadays. Everything they do is a direct influence from Wanye. All the garbage, all the good. He inspired it.

Who knew when I was 12 years old listening to the Hot Boyz that 20 years later he'd still be creating some of my favorite music.

I was up in Denver for a couple weeks and missed the release.
So stoked to bump it right now at home.

Happy for him. Happy for us to be able to have good music again that we grew up with.

If you don't like the NOLA, Southern Rap from the early 00's, your opinion is completely fucking moot, yo.

It's like if I said Grateful Dead is garbage, which well, they aren't...kinda but not a fan. And all these kid here would jump down my throat for that.
Just because we're in a psychedelic community where rap isn't really appreciated, doesn't mean it's garbage. Just fucking listen and you might like it.

Yes, I did and no, I did not like it. To me, the album was dry.

Honestly, with out being an ass... the only album I've liked was Da Drought 3. I've never really was a big wang fan...

They don't coincide in any way.
It's just that it seems most people here either choose EDM, Jam Bands, Rock, or very rarely Hip Hop as something they can truly enjoy.

DSO is one of my favorite live shows. I have no disdain for the Dead.
Simply music to me that has its time and place.

As with all other genres. But it's certainly not a band I listen to in my spare time unless I'm tripping.
But respect for what they do and did, I have a lot of that.

dumb opinion. wayne can rap circles around trav. the song on carter v he's on illustrates that nicely, and that's probably his best verse of this year so far :lol:

astro world is all right as an album, but i never got the appeal of travis as a rapper at all. dude has zero personality.
