What's going on in the hood?

I needed to get out of the house last night so I went on a walk through the ghetto of San Fran. I actually had a pretty good time. Seen some arrests and few fights and knock outs. Got offered every main drug you can think of. People were even selling drugs in the stores, well kind of standing in the store at the door and advertising what they had. It's pretty wild down there.

I'm sorry to hear that HTX. I hope everything works out for you.

Rewatching the Matrix. Enjoying it more cuz it reminds me of the Matrix game for ps2. One of the first missions is in that military building where Neo and Trinity go to save Morpheus.

Which was ridiculously fun. It was very mirrors edge/prince of persia type mechanics.

For some reason the game got alot of criticism, maybe because it was too much too soon for much of what the ps2 was capable of and it was known to crash, but the effects in it were pretty fucking badass.

thanks for kind words erbody.

feeling better already!

Yeah the matrix, part 2 in particular, had video game esque special effects.

i enjoyed rewatching it as an adult because i finally understood a lot of the depth and mysticism behind the trilogy whereas before i was more enthralled with the action.

The ps2 had tons of gems.
Though I may only think so because it was the height of my gaming career. Just the right age to do drugs and not work and skip school and have few other prerogatives.

Plus my mom would buy me a game every month I wasn't failing so I actually managed to get a good selection. Unlike for any subsequent or prior consoles.

Had a good pick of NES and SNES games but my older brother sold most of them by the time I was old enough to be any good at em.
And I returned the favor and sold most of my ps2 games by the time my little bro got to be old enough to do anything with them. RIP area 51, silent hill 3&4, bloodrayne 1&2, bloody roar 3&4, virtual fighter 4, and moar resident evil games than I could name.
Almost all of those series died with the ps2 so super extra RIP

You know I think it's weird that for some reason now that I understand these concepts more it's lost alot of its magic :ohwell: though I think that may be the incredibly outdated and fictional portrayal of computer coding.

I do find it a little bit... Uncomfortable with the fact that they estimated after the late 20th century we would begin to develop self aware self learning AI and we have. Self learning programs and machines have already been released. It's only a matter of time folks.

Anyway Ima get off my ass and go out and do something. :bye:

I was in the Tenderloin. Where's Hunter's point? I've only lived here a year or two and don't know all the nooks and crannies yet.

I've never had a problem there either, but it could see it turning bad quickly. I always have my knife in hand or very ready any time I'm in those areas.

Yeah, pretty crazy about the mountain lion. I actually didn't hear about that one. I have heard that there are coyotes living in San Francisco.

Used to walk through the tenderloin daily to go to work. I eventually started walking an extra block up from market to bypass it. Saw some gross shit there. It didn't feel super dangerous though, just disgusting and sad. Now the 16th street Bart station in the mission, that felt dangerous.

San Francisco sucks honestly I would never live there again, rent the way it is. Might as well just go to New York. I had fun there though. The architecture is awesome.

Cool thanks. I'll check out Tornado. I love that Haight Ashbury area. I've only had Vietnamese food once and it was just a sandwich. It was only $2.50 and this was a month ago. You can't beat that price.

Lately I've been going to this BBQ joint on Alameda Island. They have a burger that is made with blueberry sauce and I think it has blue cheese. Sounds weird but the flavor combo is actually perfect.
