The thing Hoover was saying about having something issued to convince the public that Oswald was the real assassin was interesting. I guess that does not necessarily imply that Hoover believed Oswald was not the real assassin, but it certainly has an air of sweeping things under the carpet.

It was a legal obligation. By not releasing the other 300, they technically broke the law.

So no, he really was not supposed to have the ability to refuse to release certain documents. He just did it anyway

If it was a conspiracy they are never going to come out and admit it.

There is also evidence that Lincoln was a conspiracy assassination as well.  That the confederates had a terrorist training camp in Canada.

People tend to be delusional about history.

True enough. I had a friend tell me that JFK was cloned by aliens and his clone was shot while the real JFK is living on a spaceship.

I have an open mind and I like to admit the possibility of most anything but ime people simply believe whatever they want to believe. Evidence or not.


Even if all the documents were released and none of those conspiracy theories were revealed to be true people would still believe them, believe the government withheld something or altered something (which is a real enough possibility I admit) and if one of those conspiracies had clear as day evidence in those documents, that aliens or the government was involved, there'd still be plenty enough people to believe the original story.


Frankly, when it all comes down to it, it doesn't matter what the fuck people believe.

Look at who prospered.

Two things I can think of

The Vietnam war and the whole across the board intelligence, military and military industry.

The Oil tax was held off for some time as well because of the assassination.

I personally think JFK assassination and 911 were inside jobs, the Lincoln assassination too maybe, but I also like to leave room for doubt and be open to the possibility that I may be wrong.


Truth is stranger than fiction and coincidences happen all the time :ohwell:



Again I also realized a long time ago that it doesn't matter which story I believe. It doesn't involve me at all and I don't need conspiracy theories to show me the government is corrupt and will figure out a way to do just about whatever the fuck it wants and damn us and our opinions.
