Can you show us the post where a liberal said Muslims are liberal?  Akira even pointed out that Muslims are very similar to Christians in their conservative ideals.

More make believe and straw man arguments to pretend liberals are dumb.  It works on when watching Fox News, but it doesn't work when liberals are around to correct you.

not even liberals, necessarily; just brains, living brain tissue, with thoughts as an impetus, and not beliefs from inertia of the synapses.

Just because a handful of straight white males are the cause of many of the world's problems doesn't mean liberals think all straight while males are bad.

Similarly, just because a handful of Muslims are terrorists doesn't mean they all are.

Yet here you are insisting one of the good Muslims shouldn't be DNC chair for no reason except that people like you are too bigoted to accept it.

"insisting one of the good Muslims shouldn't be DNC chair"

I don't think he's one of the "good Muslims".

"for no reason expect that people like you are too bigoted to accept it"

My problem with him isn't that he's a Muslim, it's because he's a bigoted hateful person.

not granting you your expectations is not called "proving your point."

the right and the left are both encouraging an undertaking to attempt to disavow voices from particular demographics. hence my statement, "see: current American politics".

Let's analyze this to see if it's really true, or if it's just another conservative lie (such as his disproven belief that white people are a demon race created 6,600 years ago on the island of Patmos).  Which of your links should we start with?

So he didn't propose making a separate country for blacks?  Does he deny making those comments?

I just came across this:

http://www.finalcall.com/artman/publish/National_News_2/article_9651.shtml
Quote:
CHICAGO - Hundreds filled the International Ballroom at the Chicago Hilton February 22 to participate in the Nation of Islam’s Hubbard Dianetics Auditor’s Graduation for the third consecutive year.

On May 8, 2010 Minister Farrakhan first introduced Dianetics to the Nation of Islam’s laborers across country. Ever since that date, members of the Nation have done everything possible to show their appreciation, followed his guidance and now it appears as if they are poised to take it to an even higher level.

“The unfolding story of the Nation of Islam and Dianetics is bold,” said Shane Woodruff, vice-president of the Church of Scientology’s Celebrity Centre International. “It is determined and it is absolutely committed to restoring freedom and wiping hell from the face of this planet.”

I had no idea the Nation of Islam had been subsumed by Scientology.  I wonder if this is real, or if the internet is pulling my leg.

Ok, let's start with that.  Have you read the article where he proposed that?  There's a link to it and a short overview here.

Here's the summary:

Quote:
In the February 2, 1990, column, titled “Affirmative action does not make up for past injustice,” he argued that America’s social programs were failing to truly address injustices committed against African-Americans, while also unfairly burdening working class white Americans.

“Conservatives have a point concerning affirmative action,” he wrote. “Why should marginally qualified white college students and blue-collar workers shoulder over 400 years of white supremacy alone? … Let’s face it — liberal social programs, including but not limited to affirmative action, foist the burden of brutal white savagery on the most marginally qualified whites, usually students or the white working class.”

This brought him to propose not a genuine alternative, but a thought experiment of sorts: “I have a challenge for all fair-minded middle- and working-class white people: I will urge black people to abandon white-dominated, integration-oriented, give-away programs if you urge white people to justly compensate black people for 250 years of slavery, 90 years of Jim Crow and 25 years of neo-Jim Crow.”

In that scenario, he suggested reparations in the form of cash compensation and giving blacks “the option of choosing their own land base or remaining in the United States.” Five states in the Deep South would become “the black state,” although neither whites nor blacks would be compelled to move, he explained.

It was more satire than a serious call to secede.

His article highlights how bad things have been for blacks in the US, and he proposed monetary compensation and/or a black state to compensate, as an alternative to affirmative action which he notes conservatives hate for good reason.

I think the point of his article (and I'm just guessing) is to show that affirmative action, while far from perfect, is actually the best realistic alternative we have if we wish to compensate blacks for injustices.

Does that article make him racist???  I don't see how.

Yes, Abrahamism is hate.

You have to hate it back in order to defend yourself from it.

That's why hate exists.

Hey, if liberals truly think that type of rhetoric is going to accomplish anything politically, then support him.

I don't think that type of rhetoric is going to work for anyone, Bernie is the type of guy the left should support, basic commonsense without going down the rabbit hole.

oh i merely accept it as a...political reality, and a cultural norm. i can let the people go,as they say...but, tooth and nail, will i defend myself from their denatured selves.

it's simply a disease. they took pagan beliefs and lifted what they could allow, and inverted those beliefs to suit an agenda of power-dominance and tribal warfare, then followed by the Romans.

scum. the religions are scum. maybe the Vedic religions are ok, and it's off-shoots, like Buddhism and Jainism.

even Sikhism, now that i can get behind...defenders against the Muslim hoards.  :trustme:

I agree, except 44 years ago, Bernie wrote a rape fantasy story about gender stereotypes.  Does anyone think Bernie supports rape?
