How to avoid getting subpoenaed?

Say I'm a reliable source but not a witness but want to avoid the court so how do I get around this?

I know its their job to subpoena you, they tried locating me about 6 times, they kept trying to say it was my problem to come get subpoenaed, but I told them it wasnt my problem.  The seventh time or so, I was home, got subpoenaed, and then never called in later.

This was for a case involving interstate meth trafficing, and two full fuctioning labs.

Edit-and just so you know narc, the courts are good at letting your name be known when it comes down to jury.  I found out who confidentially narced me out for cash, we also found out the three involved in narcing on the case I was subpoenaed for.

Anon tipsters call into crimestoppers, rat on someone they are jealous of, or afraid of, and if that happens to be the "2nd" tip LEO say they've received on an person or residence, they obtain a warrant, kick your door down, and bust you if you're holding.

Then said "informant" receives a check, most I've heard of a person getting was 1500.  They got that after I got a no knock raid for harboring a multi felon (friend hanging out)

That's what type of person op is.  I don't even want to waste the energy informing him what a nothing he is.
