Yes, Tennessee summers can be quite hot and humid! Count on temperatures at least in the upper '80's and about 70 to 90% humidity.
That sounds like an awesome line-up of bands! Too bad a po'bucker like me can't afford the $150 or so it costs to get in. But then again, since it's just a hop, skip and jump down the road from me, maybe I can sneak in.  :devil:

Man, sometimes I hate living in New Hampshire. there is almost no way I can get to it, and none of my friends even listen to any of that music. Plus coming up with the money for that and ozzfest, with no job is way to hard ... Damn  :nonono: :crying: :shake:

If anyone on the way from the Atl. & North to Knoxville area needs a ride, PM me and we'll try to work something out. For all the rest of you without transportation, YES, greyhound runs through Manchester, I know a shroomerite took it last year to get there. Check there site for more info. This will be my first year, and it will be a blast I'm sure!

I'll be there.  Getting my tix on Saturday.  I went last year and had a blast.  Gonna try to catch more shows this time, missed a few last year due to exhaustion and people not waking me up :smile:  This is a steal at $140 if you think about how much you would pay to see some of these bands individually.

History Lesson.

Year one they were damn hard to come by. There wasn't much else going on that summer either.
Year two, return of Phish and the Dead go out on tour means alot more to do and less demand. They were everywhere for cheap.

This year, who knows? Alot of other stuff going on but this thing has quit the buzz around it right now.
