I love my pets, I do treat them as roommates rather than pets though. If they wanna stay at my house then they gotta do some chores every now and then.

Thor and Loki. The actual gods, not Marvel influenced. Loki was/is an insane hyperactive terror hound. Thor was a stray we took in and it kinda fits. He's a big ass dog.

In the words of one of the wisest/kindest men I've ever known (who's also a biker); 'they're just like my pets':





I certainly have an extremely powerful emotional bond with them, I expect way more so than some pet owners. I've spent the whole day today grooming them, and popping in and looking at the Shroomery whenever I come in for a snack/line of d-amp.

It's in the connection between man and machine. Sure it's not exactly soft of furry, but the way it responds to me is very puppydog like. But then I have been described as puppydog like by a good 4-5 different people, so maybe it's just me...

I did have a dog too, but she lives with friends now, as wife is in rehab:

It was a totally unwarranted response and your completely OTT analogy shows that you simply have no idea of the bond that forms between a passionate biker and his bike. It's like the modern day equivalent of a horse. And as I said, it was a man much wiser than you or I that suggested to me once that the bond that forms is equivalent to that of a pet.

And in case you didn't notice, I did post a pic of my dog too, so I'm no stranger to that bond either.

Seeing as you haven't posted pictures of your pets and have just got pissy (say what you like, that was an aggressive response) cause I didn't follow some arbitrary rule to the letter I'm gonna assume that you're either ignorant/unable to see things from any perspective other than your own/jealous/or that you're just loud mouth keyboard warrior prick that places more value in moaning than contributing. Lord knows there's plenty of them in this world.

Whatever the reason, I hope you grow up a little and learn to show a bit more respect to people who see things a bit outside the box. Or perhaps take yourself somewhere populated by squares that follow all the rules and do what they're told. You know, like not a forum that's dedicated to people who don't abide by the rules that society lays down.

My horse was named loki, also not marvel inspired. suited that motherfucker perfectly hah.


I'm pet sitting for my brother for two weeks(I think starting next week...should probably figure out the dates huh) so I'll snap some pics of my temporary pets then. For the first time in my life, I have no animals. It'll be remedied, but my lease is ending in a couple of months and my roommate of a few years is moving in with her bf, so I don't feel super comfortable getting a pup until I'm a bit more stabilized.
