Oxy percocets

Okay I know we're not allowed to talk about dosage advice so this thread is hypothetical

If a lightweight guy who has no tolerance took 20mg of oxy from percocets, how strong would the high be? Would he nod pretty hard? He wants to nod pretty damn hard but he's not sure if 20mg is gonna be enough.

Also is the oxy in percecets different from normal OxyContin pills?

I've always been pretty damn sensitive to opiates.


Even with taking kratom daily for a couple years now and very occasionally dabbling with various pharmaceutical opioids through out the year, eating 20mg of OC would certainly have me on the nod if I was sitting around & chillin' :yesnod: .


But...like I said, I've always been relatively sensitive to opioids of all sorts.

The oxy is the same, but In your Percs there is acetaminophen mixed with the oxycodone. The oxycontine is pure oxycodone goodness. Good luck catching a nod there tho, I have never caught a nod without slamming some opiates

crush up the percs while your at it. itll hit you faster.

yeah, 20mg will get a small person w/ no tolerence pretty high. probably enough to nod off for a couple hours

I would say dose low and go up in increments.  What you're seeking "a hard nod" is bullshit.  When you get it, you don't really know it, and when you don't you'll constantly redose and end up suffering all sorts of awful side effects and addiction.  It's really better to dose as low as possible and infrequently.

The difference between percocet and oxycontin is percocet is instant release and oxycontin is extended release, which AFAIK is pretty much true in recent formulations.  Oxycontin also comes in higher doses tho, without APAP.

APAP will not effect the high but can cause liver problems at high doses, which aren't really that high doses when you start taking opiates mixed with APAP regularly.

You can always take more.  When I had no tolerance I would feel pretty nice off of 10 mgs.

its also worth mentioning that 25mgs of benadryl will make the nod much stronger. you might end up just falling asleep and wasting the high if you lay down though. vistaril is even better if you happen to have some

I did percs once while i was drinking heavily one night...have no idea how much i took but it was a fun night :grin:

i think i snorted like 2 or 3 pills.  How much is usually in a pill?  I can't recall exactly but the pills were a pretty good size.

Haven't done any since then tho.

percasets come w/ just oxy in 10 15 20 and 30mg pills... but they are pretty small. i can't imagine trying to snort the big ones that have APAP in them

naw you are thinking of roxicetroxicodone I think, which are commonly called "perc 30s" around here.  Percs come in 2.5mg-10mg oxycodone and between 325mg and 500mg APAP.

Pretty positive these are what i took that night.  Pic isn't great but says 10/325 on them.
