Just made some, about to vape some cannabis while the sauce cools then go to town :drooling:

Damn I love berries and cream and sweet fluffy cakes from the pan...

Pretty much just followed an old fashioned pancake recipe then boiled up the berries into a thick sauce with a little maple syrup n sugar and added cream cheese.

I have some raspberry jam, its one of my faves along with blackberry :crazy2: I need some choco sauce though :eek:Been using chips which do the trick.

I've never understood how people can, or choose to cook by a recipe, the only time I ever use a recipe is if the outcome depends on certain ingredients being in an absolute homeostasis of measurements.

Most of my cooking is all done free hand with some taste testing in the mix, and Music and I are the same person from two different time spaces that have converged into one so I'm sure he's the same way.

Pretty good, not doing much really. Taking care of my old dog and getting super baked mainly :lol: I got my med card recently :stoned:

I absolutely agree about recipes, I like to roughly follow them just to make less room for error but I almost always add stuff and change it up. I like making things from scratch too though it mainly depends on what I am making and how familiar I am with it. I make all my Asian sauces from scratch now becouse I love cooking them and am experienced making em.

On a large scale I've been doing pretty great but on a shorter scale, specifically this week in general I've been struggling through quite the emotional turmoil but I think I'll be okay, things are starting to look up for sure.

I was going through a lot of tough shit happening at the same time as that eclipse. I kinda wonder if it's been affecting my mood on a deeper level. I kinda feel like it has personally.

As for recipes I think that following recipes to a T actually really hurts your ability to cook good food. Even if you follow an exact recipe perfect every time, it could end up being an utter disaster, there's so many subtle differences between foods, even with something that's all grown together like corn. Heck, the top of a cob can taste different from the bottom.

Seems like there is a lot of emotional stuff going around in general lately, glad to hear you have been doing good overall :thumbup:

That is a good point about recipes, especially with more exotic and or complex stuff.

Recipes are more like starting points for me than anything :lol:

I was tempted to make crepes but thick chocolate chips pcakes were great too :drooling:

That sauce would have gone good on anything, heck if I had added more cream cheese and berries and thickened it up more it could have been cheesecake :wink:

I haven't had waffles in so long... Mainly due to lack of a waffle iron, they are tasty though.

Crepes are really what I have been craving but I like my batter thick and rarely make them.
