Pee-wee is ok. Obviously some kind of weird American knockoff of Mr. Bean but not bad, I guess. I'll watch the movie, don't really only what to expect.

He may not be such a bad guy, certainly no Jimmy SaVile or 'gary glitter'; he seemed to care enough for kids though some of his adult humor did slip into his tv show for kids.  His reported behavior is questionable but maybe it was more innocent than not? I dunno. I know he was deeply hurt and ashamed when he got arrested for exposing himself, his career soon dived after that.  In his interviews he rarely breaks character, he's somewhat odd but still interesting.

Pee-wee's playhouse was apart of my childhood, his first movie was pretty amazing and was directed by tim burton. I don't see this new one being quite as well done but it is interesting enough and I don't mind that he's coming up again for another comeback. The more I think about it actually and look up his stuff the more I am reminded of the joy I had as a kid watching his stuff. Reading up it seems at first he wanted to be a serious actor and comedian but through a series of events and rejections formed the character peewee herman which gained great success. 

  This scene, legitimately scared the shit out of me as a kid- There were a couple classic scenes in PeeWees big adventure that are quite impressive.
